Peanut butter, can anyone recommend a good brand?

I live on the west coast in Calif, and I know brand names are a little different from one coast to another but can anyone recommend a brand of peanut butter low in fat and sugar? I am at a loss on this one.

Exactly you read the label. I buy those that say peanuts or peanuts & oil. I'm currently enjoying raw almond butter. The ingredients is simply raw almonds.

Yup!

And to the OP, I am in CA too and get Laura Scudders at costco or the grocery. Trader Joe's also has all the nut butters with nothing added except sometimes salt.

@Ava324 I do the same thing. I love the SF salted caramel syrup in the PB2

LOVE PB2, they even have one that's Pnut butter and chocolate

PB2 peanut butter in powder form. It is 45 calories per 2 tbls and it tastes great! I have eaten it just as regular peanut butter and also use it in smoothies.

I buy my nut butters from Whole Foods. It's their 365 brand. The only ingredients are nuts. Oil & maybe salt. I am partial to raw almond butter, but occasionally but PB. It's a healthy fat & I rarely use more than a tbsp at a time so I don't worry about the calories. I prefer to eat foods that are as natural as possible.

Trader Joe's has a great selection of nut butters. The price is reasonable too
