Hang in there, Paradisa! You are not alone!!

How long is the surgery ?

My surgery lasted an hour and maybe 20 minutes but each can be a bit different. My surgeon said an hour is normal.

I am at my preop appt now. I am so ready to start this journey. My surgery is next Wednesday so excited!!

that's awesome I'm having mines next friday

I had RNY I was in surgery for 3+ hours plus 2 hours in recovery. My surgeon described my surgery to my husband as having been completely textbook/routine/no surprises. I know he's a conservative doc, so it doesn't surprise me he took so long. I had told my husband to expect 1.5-2 hours.

Anyone else in Scottsdale, AZ?

I will be having surgery near by. At PV hospital

I am hoping the end of next week or beginning of the following. Insurance has to fax approval over and ill do 1 week preop diet

Well I am on the losers bench now. Had my surgery yesterday and I have to say the worst thing I am dealing with is the gas. That pain is something bad but gets better little by little
