Just finished with all the pre op stuff. Now just waiting until I'm in the OR

I'm a little nervous, and the hospital just called and wants me there at 7:45 instead of 8:45. Oh boy...I'm more stressed then nervous.

I just received a phone call from insure nutrition stating that my insurance approved and will be paying for my Premier protein shakes, multivitamins chewables, and scar cream.

My surgery was on the 22nd.

I am home now since yesterday. Having difficulties sleeping, if I move in bed it hurts, I have to stay still!

Pain in my shoulder after I woke up from the surgery, either from stress or the intubation or a wrong position or a combination of all of them.

What kinds protein shakes, chewable vitamins, and scar cream are u guys going to use and when r u gonna start using them?

Well, I am out and I spent 3 days in Hospital. GERD and Horrid Gas pains. Home today, feeling sore. Will be happy once all this pain goes away. Anyone else getting gas pains from the surgery?

Yes gas pains started for me on day two along with hiccups I think that's from the hiatal hernia repair. I was sleeved on 1124 came home yesterday afternoon. Today has been better. Still can't get in 64 Oz :(

I had a band to sleeve revision on Tuesday, just released from hospital today. They couldn't get my nausea under control. (I'm allergic to phenegrin) I have gas pains in my right shoulder...or maybe it is from positioning. My husband was sleeved last week and he is doing great.I just want the pain to stop.

I had my surgery on the 25th. Im having terrible gas pain. I came home last night. I feel nausaus wit the pain meds.

My sleeve procedure went off without any problems. I was sleeved on nov 24 and was home the next morning. I woke up in a lot of discomfort and shoulder pain, all from the Carbon dioxide given during surgery. About a couple hours after recovery, I was determined to get up and walk, so I did. I walked the hospital halls 3x that day and it helped tremendously with gas pains. I SIPPED on ice chips and water, and was able to eat 1/4 of a SF jello. I was very nauseous upon waking up, I was given meds for that and I haven't been nauseous since. So today marks day 3 post op, and I'm doing great. I've stayed in check with clear liquids only and walking at least 2x a day. I'm still on pain meds, one in the am and one in the pm. Gas pains and shoulder pain have subsided. Other than being very sore, head-hunger & growing tired of clear liquids, IM GOOD.
