Im having my surgery Nov 24th. Just checking to see how many of us are out there for this week.

24th here! 4 days left!

Edited to say that I just got the call from the hospital! Report time is 4:30 am in Texas. I'm so excited!!

2 days here....and I'm scared!

Hey y'all...im in bed now, pre-op blood work and tests being done. My doc found that I was anemic and really scolded me about it. He threatened not to do my surgery.

After making me cry and panic, he finally came back to say everything was ok and I could have surgery today.

Needless to say, if I had known that would be an issue, I would gave made sure I was taking my Iron as my regular doctor had advised. I just figured i was better and just stopped taking it.

I guess I just want to alert everyone to do your best to get as healthy as possible before surgery so that you can have it done.

For me, I traveled from Texas to San Diego, and I'm now in Tijuana to have my surgery. I would have been devastated if my surgery was cancelled, but I also would rather live than to have any fatal consequences.

Take care of yourselves! Be healthy and listen to your doctors always! :-(

Hard lesson learned today....

I'm on my way to the Surgical Center guys. Nervous and terrified doesn't even come close. I waiting for

the excitement to hit.... Thank you all for the support over the last several

weeks!! See ya on the other side.

Getting sleeved Monday the 24th. Anxiously awaiting a call from Dr Enoch ' s office with the time

Just got the call from hospital, I report at 0730 and my wife is at 0800. Butterflies just erupted in my soon to be smaller stomach ????

I got the call I report at 2 for a 4 pm surgery. Monday is going to be a long day

Only 6 hours till my report time!

I am getting sleeve Monday morning. I have to be at the hospital at 7 am and my surgery is at 8 am, Still excited.

I was sleeved yesterday....the first day was a nightmare (pain wise), but I've improved a lot in just one day.

Still recovering in Tijuana....so far so good...

25th for me

I am scheduled for surgery Monday at 7:30am have to be at the hospital 5:30am

I am set for Monday the 24th, crapping my pants, scared to death and wishing I was excited. At this rate I am going to walk in and plead some kind of sedative or I am afraid I will walk out. I just want to come out of it to see my kids!

Lets all keep in contact with each other, it will be nice to have a group of friends going thru the same issues and losses together!!
