@krisrpaz. I have BCBS AL & I was denied because my BMI was only 40 or greater for two years, we appeal & they still denied. Then January 1, they no longer covered WLS.....so frustrated 7 months of OOP expenses down the drain. SP $15,300. PLEASE provide doctor's information for Tijuana. I'm desperate! Thanks

@@michellebutrick The appeal process has begun. Spoke with my surgeon's office, my PCP & my acid reflux doctor today. They all are getting their paper work together. I have FAITH, know that this minor setback is for a major comeback. Just praying it doesn't take me a year of appealing. My surgeon told me to keep my pre-op appt for the 18th as scheduled.
