  12. So upset & hurt right now. For seven months, I have attended supervised weight loss classes, followed all guidelines from my nutrition & was looking forward to a healthier me. Only to be told that, since I have only had a BMI of 40 & above for 2 years with no co-mobs that I am not a good candidate. I am pre-hypertension & 100 plus pounds over weight.
  13. Congrats, how are you feeling?

  15. @@nprcowboy I too am so sorry that you are having to go through so much misery, to become a healthy you. I have a esophagus gastritis, so I had to do a EGD as one of my clearance for surgery. My EGD was done on 11/18, I was told on 12/1 that my biopsy was positive for h pylori. My GI doctor order amoxicillin 500mg 4 times a day & doxycycline 100mg 2 times a day. I will be finish taking them on the 15th & my surgery is schedule for the 29th. Hearing your ordeal had Freaked me out!!!! I just called a left a message for the bariatric nurse to call me. Wishing you a speedy recover!!!!
  16. Ladiec2, so sorry to hear of your misfortune. After my EGD, I was diagnosis with bacteria on my stomach. I started 12/1 taking 2000mg of amoxicillin & 200mg of doxycycline a day. My surgery is schedule for 12/29. My sleeve doctor didn't say this would affect my surgery. Good luck, don't be down, think of this minor setback as a major comeback.
  17. @@Ladiec2 I was also drowsy after my EGD. The anesthesia did not wear off until 6 hours later.
