Hair loss after Surgery

Has everyone had a lot of hair loss after surgery? I was told to start taking Biotin now before my surgery but it can also make you grow hair everywhere but your head!

I am late to the 'hair loss' party [or, memorial!]. Tomorrow will mark 11 months post-op VSG and I really didn't have much hair loss...until last week. Holy freakin' cow!! GROAN. Hair, hair just coming out in clumps. omg. I threw some in the bathroom trash, but scooped it up to see a cumulative stash of it in just the past 3 days. Yikes.

I am not one to take a lot of supplements for this or that [just being honest]; but I might need to get on this Biotin thing. After I vote tomorrow, I will pull out some wigs [i used to model sometimes], or buy some clip-ins or something.

For those of you who've lost a lot of hair...I'm feelin' ya.

Uhh.. It's been 2 months I've been shedding and I did not have a lot to start with.

Went to see my doctor, had the blood work done, my blood was fine, so my doctor couldn't do anything about it.

Now I have a large thin (almost bald) spot on top and I'm wearing a hair piece topper! Now I just pray that they will grow back!

By the way, I didn't take the Biotin, just wait to see a dermatologist in a few weeks.
