Who did you tell?

Who did you tell about your surgery?

I haven't really talked about this to anyone yet. My mom is driving me on Monday, so she knows....but that's about it. I wanna tell my work best friend, since we sit next to each other, eat together, and talk all day long. Just not sure....

Human nature. Even my closest friends are competitive I told the friend that drive me to the hospital and a friend that has had the sleeve and after a major weight loss, she has gained it almost all back. I was trying to get her on board to exercise with me and discuss healthy eating.

I have been pretty open about my surgery with my friends, family and co-workers. I did this for a couple of reasons, one being accountability and one being support. The only one I was nervous to tell was my Dad because we all know how Dad's can be about this sort of thing. My Mum told him for me and he, along with everyone else has been great.

I had my surgery 7 days ago and I've had countless phone calls and messages of support which feels amazing.

I haven't told all of facebook land because a lot of those people are just acquaintances and don't need to know that part of my life.

I am really happy with my decision regarding this.
