  4. I'm so proud of you both for taking the steps to restart your weight loss journey. I've only been banded since January of this year but I see the key is getting fills as needed. I had my last fill the end of June and I'm still pretty tight. I'm nervous about not getting a fill this month per my doctor's advice but I think I'm still going to go in for accountability purposes. I should be ready for another fill in August.
  5. Hi all. I was banded 1/15/15. This has been the best 6 months ever. Pic on the left was taken at the end of June and on the right December 2014.

  8. As far as the surgery I've done great. No issues at all. I'm down 41 pounds since Jan 1 when I started the prep and procedure on Jan 15. I've been sick the past 2 weeks and on prednisone and antibiotics so that has slowed my weight loss down but I've not gained.
  9. So excited for you! I'm a month post-op. You'll do great!

  12. Thank you @gowalking. It's just a little frustrating.
  13. Stressing a little. Since January 1 when I started my prep until February 12 I has lost 37 pounds. I've not lost anything since. I've had bronchitis and a sinus infection for about 2 weeks and wonder if the medication could be playing a part in this?
  14. I used GNC Total Lean 25.. 25g of protein per shake and 170 calories
  15. I have 2 small incisions. One just below the breast line and the other in my belly button. My port is just above my belly button.
  16. The closest location is the one where I had my surgery and my Dr is the only one who does the fill. I pray that I've healed enough by Thursday to get the fill.
  17. @@Miss Meg I have my follow up Wednesday which is 2 weeks post-op. I hate having to keep taking time off work. My doc is an hour away. I pray they give me a fill then abd I don't have to come back again in 2 weeks

  19. Hi, Has anyone gotten a fill earlier than 4 weeks post-op?
  20. @@wvandemark I think experiencing hunger is different for everyone. My sister thought she'd starve to death before her first fill and I'm 9 days out after surgery and I'm hardly ever hungry. I'm so excited for you!
  21. It took about 9 days after surgery for the actual gas pains to go away. I still feel somewhat bloated.
