Any November Sleevers?

I'm so excited about my surgery it can't get here soon enough even though it is on my husbands birthday but that's ok he's fine with it and tells me he's so proud of me for taking that step to better my life even though I've ran into a road block, i had my mammogram last Monday and got called back in for retesting and a ultrasound, so now I'm having to have a biopsy on my right Brest Oct. 16th but the Doctor told me not to get to stressed over it that hopefully it's just a cyst, I have to think positive and pray that it's nothing, I'm new to the site so any more Sleevers input would be greatly appreciated!

I only took pain meds for the first 4 days. Im really sensitive to narcotics so I wanted off of those ASAP. I still have 16 of the 30 they gave me. Im still having trouble getting in all the protein and water they want me getting in. Iv never been a big drinker so i knew this would be my biggest challenge. Im sure im about to get fussed at.

Congratulations to u. I go to my first post op appointment tomorrow. I feel better every day. Today is the first day with no pain meds and i'm getting in all my protein.

Post op went great! And actually by my dpcs scales i am 17 lbs down! Woohoo! :) I know there have to be some peeeps with some loses already besides me! Lets cheer each other on!

Just got in from first post op appointment. Everything going well and healing good. I've never had high blood pressure but the reading today hasn't been that low in a couple of years. 110/66. It normally runs 110-120 over 60-70 but like i said the last couple of years has been 127 over 73or around there. That was a suprise. I'm also down 6 pounds since surgery last Tuesday. A total of 13 pounds including the 7 from pre op liquid diet. Im pleased.

Thats great @@mz.newlife54 must feep amazing to be losing weight :) I am 12 days out and ppl are already asking me .. have you lost weight hehe feels awesome :)

Excellent. Congratulations. I can just hear all the whispering when i go back to work. Im off a total of five weeks so i still have four weeks to go.

Yay MzNewlife! :) we are on the losers bench now for the rest of our lives (well until goal anyway)

Lol. Yep. Im so happy. Looking forward to clothes shopping.

Had my surgery yesterday. Incisions are pretty sore and the gas is uncomfortable. They found a small ulcer while doing the surgery that she fixed for me. Barely getting my water in, hurts when it hits my stomach. But from reading on her everyone says it gets better each day. So ill just keep breathing, walking, sipping, and taking my meds!

Congratulations and welcome to the losers bench. It really does get better with time. Hang in there.

Home yesterday. Dealing with the gas. Walking helps so much. So do drugs :). Sleeping a lot still.

So I'm at 16 days post op. And I haven't lost any weight for 4 days now any one know if this is normal or what I can do to start losing again?

Had mine yesterday too. Today seems a little worse than yesterday but it may be that I didn't take my meds in time so it let the pIn and nausea sneak in. Trying to get my liquids in. My stomach keeps grumbling like I am hungry. This worries me a little because I though they took out the part of your stomach that signals hunger.

My stomach grumbled and rumbled a LOT my first two weeks. Then it stopped.

10 days out, lost 15 lbs, feeling great! Starting weight 299 day of surgery November 11, now 284. Lots of energy, more then before my surgery, back at work, had very minimal pain after surgery, mostly gas in my chest which was uncomfortable. Incisions pretty much healed & I feel so normal considering I only have 15% of my stomach left. I have no problems drinking water & getting fluids in. Protein going down fine & I'm so happy already that I chose to have this surgery! My surgeon Dr Ramos Kelly was amazing, I went to Tijuana & had such great medical care, so thorough, clean & both my mom and I were impressed! Loved my nurses and hospital staff, met some other wonderful patients having sleeves done as well. Can't wait to keep watching this weight fall off!!!! Every day gets easier & better!
