  2. Once I started eating solids I felt good my moods got back to nornal too ... in the beginning I was a mess but now I am good takes time and sometimes it will feel like time isn't going fast enough buy u get there and its all good
  3. I had darkening of my neck and near my groin but I am now 3 months post op and its faded heaps

  5. Yea the doctor gave me tablets for atomach ulcers I have to take for 6 months after surgery but never anything for heartburn I will be asking though thank u xx
  6. Thank you so helpful I feel some days I can eat more and I feel fine then other days I cant eat as much and I get painful reflux but I guess it is all part of the healing process xxxx
  7. I am 2 months post op and have bad heart burn and makes food not enjoyable .. was wondering does food ever become enjoyable again ? But just in smaller portions ?
  8. I told my work I was having surgery for my ovaries and that the anaeathesia made me sick so I lost weight hehe then the weight lost was motivation to keep eating healthier I know I sound like such a liar but everyone at my work judges and like its no ones business hehe
  9. I have one that I take every night but its to prevent ulcers and it helps a bit then I take zantac on top and it helps but I hope I don't have this issue forever
  10. I felt really sas ans emotional for the first 2 weeks I was regretting my decision but apparently when you are losing weight quick you release hormones which make you feel emotional ... I also kept waking up at 5 am every night was freaky but it went away I am 5 weeks post op
  11. I work in beauty and everyone is skinny except me I was the heaviest at 247 pounds... I would get teased told to go gym ... they would analyze what I ate .. I had hormonal problems that made me gain weight .. I would go home crying.. I took time off and had my surgery I came back to work 30 lbs lighter now in total of 40 lbs after 5 weeks of my op and everyones jaw dropped and the nastiest girl said I look really good ... made me feel better but I can't believe how shallow people can be !!

  13. Im on medication too but it doesn't always help every day :/ I hope it's only 3 months
  14. Was wondering how long did people's heartburn last for and what did you do to make it feel better ?
  15. I'm 5 weeks post op I doubt its the anaeathesia probs is ketosis
  16. Right now im only tolerating mash potato ... only thing that doesnt taste funny and I dont vomit my mouth has a metallic taste alao
  17. I have recently started eating soft foods and some food tastes funny ... did anyone else experience this ? Is it because our sleeve is still healing ? Will it go away ?
  18. 2 big mac burgers 2 cheeseburgers 2 large fries 6 nuggets and coke in one sitting
  19. Was wondering because right now being 5 weeks post op I get nausea after eating ... do people still feel like that after one year ?
  20. Does anyone know when we can have a glass of wine again and if you have did it go down well for you ?
