Absolutely Amazing!!

That is amazing. What an inspiration. Share some tips you have learned on your journey. I'm scheduled for October 14th.

Great job! I won't be losing myself, but I hope to lose a big chunk of me!!! :D

Thanks :-) I would say that two things impacted my success this far. The first would be disciplined eating. I stick to my numbers....75 G Protein, no more than 30-40g carbs & 100 oz Water. Pretty simple.

Second though, and equally important, is the hard emotional work I've done to beat emotional eating & compulsive overrating behaviors. Doing the physical work alone without working on the mind wouldn't have been enough for me.

Did you do therapy for the emotional eating?

Did you do therapy for the emotional eating?

Yes I go to a therapist every week who specializes in eating disorders and regularly works with WLS patients.

That's amazing. Excellent job!

Yes I think I lucked out. She's amazing

I just finished reading your blog. Thanks so much for sharing your journey! I am feeling more excited than scared now. Definitely dreading that first month after surgery.

No problem! That's why I kept it! So hopefully it will help someone else on the journey. Don't dread it! It's tough, but it's also so exciting! The more prepared you are going into it, the better it will be :-)
