I'm day 3 post op and IM STARVING!

Like want a cheeseburger starving... Hahaha I'm on broths, jello and water only for the first week. I'm hoping once I can add to this, I'll be more satisfied. Anyone else "starvibg"??

Okay so my surgery was October 1st... Today I can honestly say that water and popsicles have done it for me. I'm not hungry. Just thristy from time to time. this sip not gulp thing is making getting my fluids hard. Can say this since I've been without solids I've been sleeping like a champ. I'm loving this. lol

Are you also getting any protein in?

30 pounds in 11 weeks is slow? Somebody better tell my sleeve that! I'm just over 6 weeks and have lost 16 pounds. I'd be thrilled to lose another 14 pounds in the next 5 weeks, but that seems EXTREMELY unlikely. Pretty sure I'll be lucky to see ten pounds in that amount of time.

Don't get me wrong, losing 30lbs in 11 weeks is great! And something I was not able to accomplish prior to surgery. It had taken me 10mo to lose 50lbs via Weight Watchers. Comparing (which I know we're not supposed to do) myself to others on this forum, my weight loss is slow. And in my mind, for some reason, I was expecting to lose at least 4lbs a week. I am very thankful for this surgery though. Just really hard on myself sometimes.
