Pre -Op on the 23rd but I'm kind of nervous... I was suppose to get to 280 before surgery but I'm currently 270... I had my wisdom teeth pulled so I've been on a liquid diet... I'm worried they'll think I've lost too much on my own..

Ok fellow sleevers, I need assistance please...

I need to start taking Vitamins pre not post op....are there any suggestions on which ones 2 buy???

Im currently taking Centrum and they are pretty good. My surgeon think they were as well. I'm not looking forward to those chewable bariatric vitamins. I've been sampling them over the past 2 weeks. So I've decided to get the crystal Multivitamin and Calcium. I don't think anyone offers the Iron and B 12 in crystal form :(. Good luck on your journey!

I feel like it's fine ... I've been on it for about a week now and I'm fine .. 2 eas shakes and one meal (protein/veggies) and 1 snack only ... 1 serving of fruit a cheese stick a hard boiled egg or plain Greek yogurt ... not sure what other pre-op diets consist of but minds doesn't seem to bother me at all. ☺️ good luck though nikkydizzle!

Hey everyone!! I am from Texas and having surgery October 15th! I am super excited and nervous all at the same time. I am the heaviest I have ever been, I have been splurging a lot lately. I agree with Kathy that I think the hardest part will be the preop diet. I have a pretty high pain tolerance so I'm not too worried about that. What kind of Protein Shakes is everyone buying?

I've been drinking the chocolate fudge, EAS carb control shakes. At a support group meeting I heard they have hot Protein Drinks on berriwise.com I hear their hot chocolate flavor is really good!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
