Walked 7.2 miles yesterday. Down almost 70 pounds.

I have been walking everyday for the past 3 weeks. I have the pedometer + app on the iPhone. Its been a constant push to beat my last score ( I consider it a game). Yesterday I decided after work I would walk to my brothers for the first time. He lives 1.3 miles away. I walked there and then decided ok I can easily walk back. Once I got home I decided to keep going. At a certain point a realized I was approaching a 10K and then kept going.

These last 4.5 months have been an adventure. Honestly I am having the time of my life. Still have plenty of weight to lose but am completely determined. Its no longer about the weight but about getting in the best shape possible.

Have a great weekend everyone!!!!

You Rock!! Keep it up!!

Great job! Keep it up

Wow, 7.2 miles is awesome! I'm up the 3.5 miles on treadmill at the gym for the 60 minute dally routine.... I used to walk three miles through the woods with my old lab. Too many ticks and the paths aren't maintained these days.

Keep it up. I've always felt walking was the best exercise and something that everyone can do. I lost a lot of weight several years by just walking, but it always came back. The band made the difference.

Keep it up!

You've become the Forest Gump of walkers !
