  4. Thanks 2muchfun.
  5. I am so frustrated. My surgery was July 1st. My starting weight in January of this year was 247. I am now 205. However I have had no loss in almost 3 weeks. My port incision was infected so I have not had a fill yet. I have had no appetite since my band. I do eat three meals a day but not reaching my calories or protein goal. I was still having significant pain under my shoulder so I do have an appt. For an upper Gi. I also sometimes feel like my throat is closing. Also is it normal to not be able to sleep on your left side??

  12. I am 9 days post surgery. I am following doctors orders and recommended liquid meal plan. I have gained three pounds back in the last few days. Is that normal? Thanks
  13. Thanks everyone- Surgery went well. I have had some gas pain in my shoulder but increased my walking and the heating pad seemed to help. Back to work today but taking it slow and steady.

  15. My surgery date is tomorrow. July 1, 2014. I am excited and nervous. Physically what should I expect from the surgery? Emotionally I am on a roller coaster right now. I know this is the right decision. I just don't want to fail. The liquid diet has not been so bad. Any words of advice to get through the next couple weeks. Thanks.
  16. Hi Julez, I am currently on the liquid diet. Surgery date July 1, 2014. I attended a church function this week, centered around food. I am not going to lie, it was hard to sit there with my SF jello and not indulge in the taco bar. Be prepared. The protein shakes really do help. I have not had the hunger issue, like I thought I would. My personal opinion the Special K brand seems to stay with me longer. Good luck.
