Countdown to Onederland!

Recommended Posts

Hey guys! How's it going? I'm reporting in this week at 187!! WAHOO!! I have been on my period this last week so I'm just now getting rid of the Water weight that I gain during that time (4 -5lbs EEK!!!)

I did some shopping this weekend with gift cards that I got for my birthday last week. I bought some really cute khaki pants (size 14) and cut off jeans (size 14) and a blouse (size 16) at the Gap! And guess what? I can now walk in to that store and not feel that the other shoppers and sales people are looking at me thinking "what is she doing in here? we don't have anything she can wear". Also, I went to Belk and bought a couple of blouses (size Missy's XL), a Nine West Blouse (Size Missy's 16)

AND>>> I bought a Lucky Jeans Brand Blouse in a LARGE!!!! (NOTE: IT IS EXTREMELY TIGHT NON STRETCHY< SO I WILL BE A FEW MONTHS BEFORE I AM COMFORTABLE BEING SEEN IN IT - IT IS MY NEW INSPIRATION BLOUSE). I also tried on a few pairs of LUCKY Brand Jeans they have those weird sizes... they go from like a 22 to a 32. A 32 is a 14, I got them on... but didn't buy them yet, those things are pricey ($100.00). I have always loved the look of Lucky Brand stuff but could never think about wearing it... now I can. This band is AWESOME!!! WAAAHOOOOO!

Also.. I never even looked in the direction of the Women's Department this weekend, I am leaving all that behind. I also tried on a couple of dresses in a large and x-large. AWESOME!!! I may become a shopping addict now... It is sooooo great to walk in to a store and not have to scurry to the Women's Sizes or Plus Sizes! I want this for ALL OF YOU!!! WE CAN DO IT!!!!:whoo:

Renee - Welcome sister! A HUGE congrats on the 62 pounds that you have already lost! :clap2: That is great!! Don't worry.. those next 24 will be gone before you know it!

Sandra - Welcome and way to go!! Only 10 more pounds til Onederland! WAHOOO!!!:clap2:

Jen - Keep your chin up girl! I know how difficult it is to walk away from the junk.. I struggle with this as well. Are you drinking tons of Water and eating at least 60 grams of Protein a day? How many calories and carbs do you average. A slight adjustment in eating habits teamed with the water and the exercise will get you moving. Wow! :DYou must be one hot Moma! I need to ride around with you for a while... being single and all. You could help me find a man! Keep up the great work!:)

Kim - Wow! You go girl, look at you Ms. 187! Great job! :clap2::clap2:

Jsrico - Welcome and wow, you too, only 9 more pounds, you're doing great!

Leona06 - Don't you just want to toss that scale out the window when that happens!! :heh: You're so close! You can do it!

Jen - Don't give up! You can do this! It's tough, I am feeling ya on that, just try to take it one bite at a time. We all hit set backs and road blocks, that's just part of this journey. You're not failing, you just took a Detour, so let's get back on track and make better food choices, you are so worth it! You're only 15 pounds away, you can definitely do this!! Look how close you've gotten, you're almost through that door to Onederland, c'mon Jen, you can do it!!!!!!

rms76845 - Welcome!

clynnc and Metalband - Way to go guys, you did it! Congratulations!! :clap2::clap2:

jacqui - Great news on the test results, I'm very happy for you! :clap2:

Okay everyone, take care and I hope to see all of us in Onederland soon!!

I am also so stuck and trying to get to onderland. I am at 207 and can't even budge that number. Quite frustrating to say the least. How can I push this. I have a day care and run around all day with the children. I am too tired in the evening. I make a quick supper for hubby and eat lightly myself. Help. I think I need another fill. It is scheduled for August 14th. Maybe being on liquids and mushies for awhile will help. hope so.

Just thought I'd join this thread too. I haven't seen onederland for over 9 years. How nice it will be. Just 13.5 more pounds to go. Way to go to everyone that has achieved this goal and keep it up to everyone who is so close!!!

Did my morning ritual this morning before I weigh!! Take the dogs out, make the bed pee, brush my teet, and strip down to nothing, exhale and slowly get on the scale!! I always get on it 3 times to make sure the number is correct. Today I am down another pound!!! YIPPPEEE!!!!

208!!!! I want to be in ONDER-LAND by kids birthdays in September!!

My goal is to get to onederland by September 1. Im at 210 now and for the last week and a half the scale has been going up and down the same 3 lbs. I weigh in the morining and it says one thing and than I weigh in the evening and Im up. This is driving me crazy. I think I may have hit my first plateau. I hope this isnt so. I was really hoping that I would get to onderland before I started to plateau. I have been going thru my fitday logs to see if I can see where the problem may be. I think it is actually that Im not eating enough. My job is so stupid. I can have chips and candy bars at my desk but nothing that can be eaten with a utensil. The only time that I can eat is at lunch because my breaks are only 15 mins and the lunch room is a distance away. So if I follow the band rules and eat slowly, I dont have enough time so I just dont get to eat. Than since I dont get home until 9 pm its too late. Does any one have any ideal of what I can eat at my desk besides a Protein Drink because I have that in the morning for Breakfast. :help:

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
