  1. Sandra, I just know something's not right there and that's what happened to me, along with some reflux and I had an upper GI to confirm it, now I'm waiting to see if it went back in to place after doc took out all the fluid. Another upper GI in June, if it went back I'll get a fill for sure, I need it. I just think something's going on with your band and it needs to be checked out. Hope it's fine for you though. Let us know how you're doing. People are having better luck with the sleeve now. Not sure though. I just hope my band goes back in to place cause I need it.
  2. sandra, it sounds like your band has slipped, you need an upper GI, you should call the doc.
  3. how do I get my ticker in there, I dont know where to paste it to.
  4. Miss talking here, but it was nice to talk on facebook too.
  5. Where did everyone go?
  6. I hate the change of the site.
  7. Judy, Busha is Polish for grandma, I'm Polish, are you?
  8. Loved the pics, I especially love authenic mexican food and it looked real authenic, especially the gold fish for the tacos, lol. Judy, you looked great after surgery, how did you do in walking? Is it still swollen? You girls looked so happy together.
  9. Judy, it will take 6 months before you feel like yourself, believe me, I thought I was making progress then got knocked down and try again tomorrow kinda thing. I go for my 1 year checkup next month, I feel pretty good on that knee but sometimes the side of my knee feels numb and sometimes I can feel a pain or two but not when walking. I know I need another knee fixed but i can't imagine going through all this rehab right now again. It's a feeling of helplessness, you can't even get up out of bed or a chair for a while, I remember trying to hold the bathroom trip in the middle of the night cause I didn't want to get out of bed, pain. This is no quick fix but after 6 months you will be done with all the pain and stiffness. You will be just fine, just give it a little more time. Sometimes when I stand for a while the knee does its own thing, might bend a little by itself. Thinking of you.
  10. So happy you are fine, Judy. Prayers do work, I believe that. Yeah, don't lose your bending power. You'll be running around California before you know it!
  11. Judy, prayers are with you today, you will come back just fine. Your garden is absolutely beautiful. Thinking of you today.
  12. Judy, I had a therapist who did a massage on my muscles all around my knee first, it felt great, she then pushed it back and that helped me a lot. It was a warm oil and they knew how to stroke the muscles. felt great. then I got the mean one and it was push back, try to push my arm back out while I'm pushing. didn't look forward to PT for sure but I guess it's part of recovery. I can walk a long distance but now my other knee is giving me problems. great.
  13. Judy, I know how jittery you are today cause I've been there. Yesterday I took a long walk, about 2 miles, you know, I had some pain in the old knee and none in the new one, I am so happy I did the surgery. After about 2-3 weeks you'll be getting back to walking without devices and so happy you did this. Make sure you do your exercises after surgery cause this really helps, they get you right up after surgery and into therapy. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow and prayers are coming your way. Good luck!
