Countdown to Onederland!

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone

I was banded May 3rd and I weighed 243lbs. Onderland seemed so far away and almost out of reach. But I am happy to say that this morning when I got weighed the scale said an amazing 203. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. Hoping to join you in onderland very soon.

chickatee - you are almost there. Just keep doing what has worked for you and you'll be there. You deserve a healthy life!

Everyone - I am continuting my Onederland experience and want to break through the 190 barrier. I don't know why I have set these silly weight goals up as barriers, but I want to leap over them. I have been sitting on 192 - 193 for several weeks. I am ready to plunge down the scale now. I have a feeling that when I get snared, it is both psychological and physiological. Must have been a past set point. Hey, I'll figure this out. I can smell the 180's/ Can't wait!

Still at 203 or I should say I'm back to 203. I had a couple bad days last week and gained a couple lbs. Since it is TOM for me I guess I should have expected it. Hopefully by next week I will be in onderland

Im there. I weighed this morning at 197.8so Im claiming this weight. Actually I was at 199.8 on saturday but that was too close so I decided to wait just in case my body decided to change its mind. Now my next goal is 180. I hope to get there by xmas which seems really doable as long as I dont plateau. Im keeping my fingers crossed.

My goal is to join the onederful folks in onederland by December 1st. That means 23 pounds in 3 months. As soon as I get cleared by my doc, I'm going to ramp up on the exercise. But in the mean time, I need to focus on Water, Protein and staying motivated. Thanks for being so inspirational!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
