Awesome! keep up the good work!

Day two po and get to go home today. Gas pain was awful yesterday but pain is already way better. I can do this and so can eveydody. Looks forward to future me

Sorry and how did u know after 3 days that u were full i can't tell. Don't want to over eat.

Karen. I always read from pre-op vets to measure and stick to that. In the beginning your tummy is still healing and you will not be able to tell if you are full. I believe it is 1/4 cup of food and stop if you feel uncomfortable. I know in my bariatric book, I am only allowed 1/4 cup in the beginning

I also read that vets had indicators like burping and discomfort when they are full.

Do people then drive and fly all the way home ?

I don't think I could hang

Hey Chris.... Im going to TiJuana... So I fly into San Diego a day before my surgery - in my case its this Monday. Then a medical van is supposed to pick up my husband and I at the airport and take us across the border to the Marriott. We spend one night there - and then the medical van picks us up and takes us to Mi Hospital for the surgery. My husband and I will be staying at the hospital for 2 nights - together. Then the medical van picks us up and takes us back to the Marriott for 2 more nights. Then on Saturday morning - they pick us up at the hotel and take us back across the border back to the airport and we fly home. My inlaws will pick us up at the Orlando airport and drive us home. So nope - no driving for me - Im escorted everywhere! LOL

I'm August 27th too!! Good luck to you. Are u doing preop liquid diet yet? I started it Wednesday and so far it's going surprisingly well!! We can do this :)

I am doing liquid shakes and a dinner... I know everything will go well... The waiting is the hardest...

@alyce...Good luck to you as well!! I've been doing my liquid preop diet since 8/14...Protein shakes and clear liquids. It's not fun but I'm doing way better than I expected! And...I'm down 10 lbs just this past week :)

What time is your surgery Wednesday? ? Mine is at 10...gotta be there at 8. WE GOT THIS!!!!!

Good point Chris! I guess if you are flying you should be sure that they give you blood thinners and that you wear compression stockings??
