I don't know. I hope not. I'm not comfortable being around blown up latex balloons. I know it's silly, but they freak me out. I'll let you know once I have my appointment with my surgeon tomorrow.

Welcome Mike. I'm pretty new here too. I'm also scheduled for Aug 1st. Are you on a pre op diet or anything?

I can certainly relate to excited/nervous. Just add emotional to that! Here's to our new start!

Surgery date is August 4. So excited but on a 2 week liquid diet as of Monday.

I'm new to the site but have loved reading through all these great comments! I just heard today that I am scheduled for August 12th pending insurance approval. This is such a nerve wracking process. If anyone is in the DC/MD/VA area and wants to chat let me know. Good luck to all the August Sleevers!
