Really bad lower back pain around 12 days post op

Hello sleevers!

I'm starting to experience excruciating lower back pain anytime I sit for long periods of time and try to get up or lie down and get up! It's painful to the point where I am in tears! I am 14 days post op today. Slow weight loss about 7 pounds from my surgery weight. I must admit that I don't always get my Water and Protein requirements in..

Anybody else experience this? I'm going to make a conscious effort to get the min protein and water in.

I was hurting in my back and my hips around a week to two weeks out. I think it was due to all the bloating and water weight after the surgery. I gained 10lbs that first week, and didn't lose all that until the 2nd or 3rd week. I think that's what caused my aches.

I am hurting in my right hip, but I ate an egg yesterday and threw up and I think that is why.

I think that if the pain is that bad you should be calling your surgeon. It's always best to check with your doctor - better to be safe.

I had my surgery 2/4, and last week I was experiencing horrible lower back pain that wrapped around my side. I finally went to the emergency room , only to find out I had Kidney stones. I was told by a nurse that too much Protein can cause the stones.

I have been a stickler at getting my protein in. Since this ER visit, I have dropped the Amy of protein I am taking in. Also really, really pushing Water. Water has been my biggest issue. I was used to drinking south water in a day prior to the surgery, and I just cannot get that much in me in a day.

Watch this pain... Could be something serious. Don't wait too long to have it checked out.
