Well, here I go! At 43, I've wasted my thirties being fat. This decision was easy. I was such a fit person in my twenties, even competing in amateur aerobics comps! Then I met my first husband who was a chef...the rest is a season on horrible histories! So, here I am. My surgery is on Tuesday, school holidays have begun and I've just lost another kg on the scales thanks to the pre-op diet. Thought I'd start a little diary of my journey.
I began this last Sunday at 245 pounds, my heaviest ever (111). I kind of went crazy eating all the things I knew I wouldn't get again! I met Ben and Jerry and they showed me all around their yummy house lol. Funny, I was not a big ice cream person until I know I wouldn't have it again! But we've now seen enough of each other and I won't go over to them anymore
So, today I weigh 107kg (236). Hopefully I will lose a couple more by Tuesday and then a crapload! Haha!
Good luck to everyone out there
