I am thinking about getting a FitBit but I know very little about them. Does one have to have a smart phone to use a FitBit? (I prefer my old-style just-a-cell-phone.)

@ no, you can upload your info from your fitbit to when you are close to your computer.

I just got my fit bit in. Still getting to know it but please add me: robin811@att.net

Thank you

I adore my Fitbit One, and got one for my hubby too - and now he's actually tracking, walking and doing stairs! YES!! It's great - and works by encouragement and positive feedback - nothing negative at all. SO cool.
