Day one of mushies! For breakfast I had 2 oz. of whipped cottage cheese. Felt nice and full but not uncomfortable. For lunch I had two scrambled eggs cooked with a pat of butter and with less than a teaspoon of ketchup. Again feel full but not uncomfortable. I am down 19 lbs- surgery on June 4th. I look back on how I used to eat and before I used to be so hungry all the time, I wish I had done this sooner!

I wish I had done it sooner too, June 9 for me! It's amazing I come home from work, by habit, I hit the kitchen for a snack, now it's a spoon of cottage cheese, and I'm good. Before it was crackers, hummus, cheese, bread, olives. And wine! So many calories, which in turn made me get this big, I love my sleeve!

Hello from Texas! I'm new to this and feel so overwhelmed but I have also learned so much from reading everyone's post. My surgery is scheduled for June 30 in Houston and I'm on day 3 of my pre-op liquid diet. I feel like this is going to be the hardest part. Any suggestions or helpful tips to get through the pre-op stage?

Just waiting at hospital for my sleeve. Surgery in about an hr. Please say a prayer for steady hands

How did it go?? Are you doing okay patricia?

Sitting here on post-op day 1. Lots going through my mind, but very little going out or in my body. Feeling the immediate "what have I done" feeling a bit. So I found this forum to help get me through these first days. Anyone going through the same thing? Encouragement needed. Patrick

One week of post op down one week to go. Down from 210-203. Still hungry but dealing. Nervous as well. That has not gone away.

My surgery was 5/27/14 vsg I'm down 14.9 lbs
