Know what I just noticed... That girl.. the one on the top of the screen where it says 'lapbandtalk'... her reflection is bigger than she is.. I guess that's why she's up there... Now it makes a little sense, because I was like.. Um, who is this girl (she kind of looks like the girl on scrubs) and why is she up there?? But if you look super dooper close.. you can see a reflection behind her of an arm or something that looks bigger than hers. Maybe I have too much time on my hands?

Hey, how is everyone? I'm still doing well. I can finally lay on my side again....i'm really happy about that one:) My incisions are healing well and they only hurt when I cough, sneeze, bend over, etc. It's really not bad at all. I messed up so bad yesterday when I ate 4 bites of scrambled eggs way too fast. I got sooooooo sick. Anyway, I learned my lesson....we HAVE TO eat slowly! I love losing weight. Good luck to all you fellow May bandsters and hang in there!!

Hey Raysbabe, you can have scrambled eggs? Lucky you, I was banded on the 2nd and have to be on full liquids for two weeks. I would kill for a scrambled egg. Oh well, only one more week to go and then I can mushies. OH, I live not far from Nashville, we are almost neighbors.

Has anyone else been using any type of product that will help prepare your skin. I'm 18 na dI think I would just DIE if I had an abundance of loose skin. I am expecting moderate but thats about it. I have been using Dove's firming lotion for a about a month in hopes to "prepare my skin" has anyone else tried a product like this? How has it worked.

I see what you mean! I think it is her reflection. But they chopped her 'reflected' head off! hahaha! Ok, it wasn't that funny...maybe I need more pain meds...

Just wanted to pop in and say congrats to those already banded and those with upcoming dates. I am a year out today and let me tell you its all worth it! Go get em May Bandsters! ;)

yowsa! I'd hate for someone to chop my reflected head off! ooh and crabcake -- I say you're definitely a May bander!

You're 18 right? Trust me, your skin will probably 'bounce' back! Us old birds would kill for some 18 year old skin! I have heard though that Vitamin E is good for that, so you might check at your local health food store or GMC and see what they recommend.

Definitely is right! I was banded yesterday! I think that my reply email was confusing though...I was trying to agree that cmacinga was a May.

I have really no streatch marks...and the tiny ones i have are white....which just doesnt make sense to me...im 5'7 and 275...i really would think I'd have alot more. =/ I hav ebeen overweight my whole life tho but didnt reach the 200's unstill i was 13/14. I guess we will see. I have heard about vitamin e oil for scars but not for skin. hmmm perhaps i should check into that. Thank you! =]
