only thing I can say is walk, walk walk..sit up and wait it out. You should be better soon.

I am 6 days post op today. Those gas pains are horrendous, aren't they! I have been walking as much as I can and I took a small footstool in to the bathroom. It seems having my knees up a little higher helps relieve the gas.

Every day is better and am still so excited!

Ugh I'm at day 25 and today was rough. I don't know if I just over did it this week or what. I didn't have a BM for a few days (sorry for TMI) I took something to help move things along and that worked, but I'm having pain on my lower left side and I've felt kind of sick to my stomach all day. I feel like I broke something inside. :(

I went easy on eating today, I've only had some apple sauce, a few ounces of smoothie, and a soft scrambled egg. Hoping I'll feel better tomorrow.

I had my bypass on March 26th, 2014 so I am only three days out. I feel pretty good but still get very tired and can make it awake for only a couple of hours at a time. I have noticed today that I have been a little bit hungry off and on. I just can't get the Protein Shakes down. Anyone else out there experiencing any of this?

Woo hooo! You are doing AMAZING! Keep up the great work!

Hey Kim what Protein do you use to mix in with the Soups? Is it flavored?
Me, Shannon? I don't use anything, or eat Soup yet.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
