Hello my name is Debra. I had been searching
for people going through the same journey
as myself. I had a lap band put in 2006 and I hadn't
lost the weight I needed and begin having
problems with it. I had an upper GI done and
they discovered my band had slipped. So
they put in a request to remove it and
at my requested the insurance agreed to
convert it to a gastric bypass. I am in the process
of doing my liver shrink diet and my surgery
date is set for March 26.
