Insure Nutrition

I got so excited at the thought of some insurance covered protein shakes and vitamins but my insurance didn't cover them. Major disappointment! I have BCBS MS for state employees.

I just got my forst shipment today. I was so excited. 72 proteon drinks a bottle of multi vitamins and rx of scar cream. I will get this shipped free every month. Thw vitamins were nor covered but the company is going to send them to be as a courtesy. I so love this company and my insurance company.

I sent in my information and I'm waiting to hear back from them. How long did the process take? How are their shakes?

has anyone been successful in getting the insurance company to pay for supplements? If so, can you tell us who your doctor is and what your insurance company is?

Can someone reply to this thread who knows if this is legit. I received a shipment today and they are asking me to sign an RX form and mail it back.

Thanks,

I was contacted by them on Monday saying I was approved and that they would be faxing RX documents to my surgeon and that my premier protein would also be covered. They didn't say how many and they also said my copay would be waived due to a special they were running this month. We'll see if anything shows up.
