You know what though?

You really should do what YOUR surgeon says is ok, not what a message board full of sleevers says. We've all had different experiences, and different surgeons.

Your surgeon is the one performing the surgery on you, not us. So I say check with your surgeon.

"Never trade what u want most for what u want at the moment"

Happy Birthday to you!

I view being sleeved like getting married and right now we're all engaged. We are all making plans, doing tons of research, making purchases in preparation for our big day! Weddings and marriages are beautiful and people enjoy attending but most times the guest or attendees doesn't realize the bonafide hard work, sweat, tears, and sacrifices you've made to make this dream wedding come true they only see the finished product. Having weight loss surgery is the exact same. Think about it we spend hours upon hours on line, reading books, talking to people we know and those we don't in an attempt to learn all we can to yield the greatest success throughout all phases of this WLS journey, we're making purchases to ensure we have everything we need, and most of all we are getting our minds right as there's no magic at the alter nor is it in the operating room.

With all that said our sleeves will be our tool and just like a marriage you tend to get out of what you put in it. That's not to say the journey will always be easy as there will be struggles and bumps along the way but take your time and enjoy the journey. March 3rd and on ward in good times and stalls embrace your sleeve because if you hang in there long enough you will reap the rewards of all your hard work. You got this finish strong. I think many times we don't realize our lives aren't over we're being granted a new start you will be able to Celebrate future birthdays and enjoy the things you love on your special day just a lot less of it. Whatever you decide to do there's no judgement ever here as we are all striving for the same goal. HANG IN THERE YOU GOT THISSSSSS!!! Lol

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
