Low priced, high protein shake I've found post gastric sleeve

Hi All,

I'm 3 weeks post gastric sleeve, so am reliant on Protein shakes. I've just found an incredible deal and had to check to see if it was a mistake, but it's not. Amazon has MET-Rx Protein Plus RTD 51, 15 Ounce (Pack of 12 for 3.99 and 4.99 shipping)! These are normally around $42 because they have 51 grams of protein! Plus they taste pretty good!

Vita-Cost sent me an email apologizing and refunded the entire amount including shipping. Refund came through Amazon.

All is well - and Amazon's guarantee is worth it!

You know, I jumped on the bandwagon and ordered and only got two cans. But you know what, the more I think about it the more I think why do I want to take advantage of an honest mistake? One that will likely make a big difference to the livelihood of a company that employs a lot of people and needs to make a profit to continue to do so. It's not like it's some huge corporation that makes hundreds of millions. I am choosing to move forward with goodwill and to operate in good faith that it was an honest mistake made by people trying to do their best. One or two mistaken orders they could probably handle and "eat" with good grace, but when we flooded them it was going to really impact them.

Just the way I see it.

Hey Jess, I totally agree, I told my hubby about it, and I said, I was only getting them bc of price not bc I wanted or needed them and since I was refunded, I'd leave it alone too. Trust me, I was disappointed at first, besides, I'd only ordered one bc I really didn't need them, they were gonna b as a back up if needed, so yeah, I agree with ur insight, gr8 job on you!!
