  2. Thanks so much. It was a struggle at times due to the nausea, but am glad I stuck it out. Looks like you're doing very well...congrats to you, too!

  4. I'm at my 1 month post op anniversary today. Was at a plateau for 5 days, but have now lost 30 pounds so far. Can't wait to keep going!
  5. I've also been experiencing nausea this past week. My dr. prescribed an anti nausea medication, but the only thing that seems to help is saltines. Is this normal?
  6. I'm at a stall, too. Am 2 days before my 4 week mark post surgery. My scale hasn't moved this week. Have increased fluids (water) and can't understand what's going on. Am frustrated! Help!

  8. Bamaboo64. Am not sure what it is now, but I've just received a shipping confirmation from Amazon and it's 3.99 for a 12 pack.
  9. I've ordered 2 packs of 12, but also just found out that insurance may cover the cost of post bariatric Protein drinks and vitamins: http://www.insurenutrition.com.
  10. I'm in week 3 and have been nauseous, too. I'll try the advice above regarding the antacids.
  11. Wow! You look amazing! I'm 3 weeks post-op, so I'm learning to reintroduce foods. Seeing you really inspires me!
  12. I had this too, as well as pain when I drank something cold. Am 3 weeks post op and still do feel pain when drinking cold drinks. Take my advice and go slow when introducing foods. I've made the mistake of thinking my "baby stomach" could handle a few bites of Pasta, for example, and (not to be gross) it came up 10 minutes later!
  13. These Protein shakes seem to agree with my stomach. I tried to eat 4 Tostitos chips last night with queso and, not to be gross, but it came back up 10 minutes after eating.
  14. I only ordered 1, but think I'll go back and order another 1 or 2. I'm with you...we had better get 12 per order as stated!

  16. Thanks so much. I'm also trying to drink more Water as I've heard that may be a cause. And I agree that Dr. Umbach and his staff are terrific. I will contact them if it continues. Did you have him as a surgeon too? And congratulations on your weight loss!

  18. Hi All, I'm 3 weeks post gastric sleeve, so am reliant on Protein shakes. I've just found an incredible deal and had to check to see if it was a mistake, but it's not. Amazon has MET-Rx Protein Plus RTD 51, 15 Ounce (Pack of 12 for 3.99 and 4.99 shipping)! These are normally around $42 because they have 51 grams of protein! Plus they taste pretty good!
