Were you sleeved during the first two weeks of December?

Were you sleeved during the first two weeks of December? If so, how are you doing and what are your stats?

Me:

HW - 293

SW - 285

CW - 246

I've lost a lot of inches. Although I didn't measure my clothes tell the story.

Side note: I'm aware of the other December 2013 threads but they're too long for me. There a like 30 new postings when I log in and I can't keep up. :)

I have lost allot but I seem to have been stuck for the last two weeks. And I agree with you on the other threads. I can't keep up with that much activity.

Total weight loss --47 lbs

Tuesday I get to eat anything except for steak and raw veggies! Yeahhhhh

Went from size 20 to 16.

When I first had the surgery I wasn't sure I would make it through the first 6 weeks. Sick of Protein shakes and soft foods. 47 lbs later the joy if wearing clothes that are too big is unbelievable. I am so glad I made the decision. I really wish I did it a long time ago.

My goal us to get down to 135lbs. I can start exercising next week which should help a lot!

Good job! My scale was stuck for a couple of weeks as well but I just kept to the program. You/we know that the weight will come off and the body is just doing some readjusting. :)

That is awesome Odessallen!!! I'm still doing a Protein shake in the morning. I think having a variety of Protein Shakes helps so I won't get bored...cookies and cream one day and vanilla cheesecake the next! ;)

I haven't really been interested in eating which is a HUGE plus! I did have some grilled salmon this week that was heavenly!!! Basically just sticking to Soups (egg drop has been my fave) with a scoop on unflavored powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury Protein powder and lean protein. I was a volume eater before surgery and only being able to have 5-8 bites is good but, I no longer look forward to eating. I know that's a good thing. :D:angry::mellow::D

I was sleeved on Dec 9th.

I was a major volume eater before so this has and is a major "head" adjustment. I incredibly excited about my weight loss so far, it just scares me that it'll stop or that I will regain once my body adjusts to my sleeve.

My goal is 140.

Congratulations on your weight loss Shellvsg! I totally understand the fear of a regain...I think many may have this fear from years of dieting and failing. You'll reach your goal before you know it AND keep it off!

Mercy y'all are doing so much better than me! I need daily meal plans from y'all. I had my surgery in another city and no NUT so I am winging it.

You're doing good Gettingsexyback! Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I'll do my best to help you along in your journey. :)

I'm a creature of habit and my meals typically look like this:

B: Premier Protein shake

L: Egg drop Soup with a scoop of unjury protein powder

D: 2 ounces of salmon or tilapia, 2 tablespoons of green veggies ( I'm never able to finish all of it)

Snack - Ostrim Jerky or more egg drop soup

I'm getting about 60 ounces of Water a day at this point but I'm trying to increase that amount. My bariatrician is happy with the amount of water I'm getting at 2 months post op.

Thank you so much! I have been stalled for like 3 weeks! Lost 2 lbs in all that time!

I had a stall for 2-3 weeks too ( not sure how long...stopped focusing on the days) but, you/we know that it's only temporary and the scale will move again!

Oh my word!!! Just weighed and down 2 more lbs!!! Thank you Jesus, friends on Bariatric Pal and my sexy sleeve!!! Lol. I guess this stall is over 4 lbs this week!

You're doing great. Keep it all in perspective of positive ( but I honestly realize its tough at times). The way I look at it everyday now is better than my days before when it comes to eating and taking care of me.

Typical day for me:

Breakfast - hot tea with 1tsp honey

A boiled egg, 1/4 cup oatmeal or a strawberry lean Protein shake.

lunch

2.5 oz tunafish, 1tsp lowfat mayo, 4 slices pickled beets

Snack

Lowfat/high protein yogurt or 100 calorie LF cottage cheese

dinner

3oz fish with some kind of vegetable

Night snack

Hot tea with 1tsp honey

MY MAJOR struggle is lack of Fluid intake. A good day 40oz. Today my BP was too low and my doc said it was due to my lack of fluid intake ..
