Haven't had surgery yet (April 25 is my date) but I have a question for y'all that have had it... I have fat hands. Like I wear a size 11 ring in my ring finger... Did your hands and wrists slim down as well?? Please let me know I'm worried I'll look like a clown with a little body and big man hands...

Yes - my left ring finger went from a size 7.5 to a size 5.5. My wrists are much smaller too.

Yes. I went from a size 9 ring to 7 1/4 and I am not near my goal weight. My wrist measurement went from a 8 to a 6 3/4. I look forward to resizing all my jewelery when I do reach goal.

I have lost several ring sizes and even my feet have gone down 1.5 sizes! Oh and necklaces hang lower. For reference I have gone from a 20w pants to a 12, same for dresses. 2xl to medium top. 44DD to 32D bra. And I expect to lose a few more sizes still.

Lol I am so ready for this change!! The ups and downs I'm ready thank y'all!

I'm not even wearing my wedding ring right now because I'm afraid to lose it. I am going to wait

Until I get to goal to get it resized.

My wrists are a lot smaller. I can take most of my bracelets off without unclasping them. Got a Bracelet from the hubs for Xmas and it slides to the middle of my forearm. It is 7.5 inches. We are debating on if it is too big and needing to return it.

A girl I met at clinic put away her wedding ring and bought a $20 cheap ring cause people were asking if her marriage was ok. She ended up buying 3 rings until she was at her goal then had her wedding and engagement ring resized

I've always had size 10 fingers. I'm three weeks post-op, and down 37.7 total. Just had to add a Ring Snuggie to keep my wedding band from slipping off my slimmer fingers. (Picked these up in the Wal-Mart jewelry section, $3 for a 6-pack.)

Hey thanks for the info. I need to pick some up. I had to just quit wearing my wedding rings.

It's funny you asked that, it was one of the first things I noticed that was smaller!! I wear gloves at work a lot (I'm a nurse), and I noticed the mediums were getting tight before surgery. About two weeks after surgery, I noticed the mediums were actually easy to get on, and now almost a month out they are too big. I also notice, when I clasp my hands together, they actually can clasp comfortably (weird thing to notice, I know!). They are not swollen anymore, they look smaller as well.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
