I had nothing no diabetes, no hbp, nothing, I had the robotic assisted VSG, my weight I started at 354lbs. Surgery weight was 344. I was also approved the 1st time my papers were submitted. I'm in the Bronx also and just wanted to recommend Jacobi Hospitals weight loss program to you- that's what I went through. I have Health First and had no problem being approved and was approved in 2 days. Definitely recommend there program and Dr. Chopra if you don't already have a surgeon.

I have Medicaid with Fidelis Care and I can't get the insurance company to talk to me they say my surgeon had to submit papers to know if my surgery will be covered
