I live in MD but i had my surgey in DC an hour and a half away from my home because i have medicaid

I have medicaid and i gained weight in my 6 months and was approved in 3 days.

I have UHC Community Plan through Maryland Medicaid. I was approved in 3 days and had my surgery 2/5/14...... I had no copay, Nothing. Call UHC and see what there requirements are. Mine was one year of therapy of some sort but i only did 6 months.

I have MD medicaid and I did 6 months nut visits, 1 psych eval, 1 cardio test, medical clearance and an online thing. I had my surgery 2/5/14 at WHC in DC and I am 41 lbs down..

Thanks guys it feels wonderful, I was brought up with the saying you cant be big and funky and even though I never smelled bad I felt as though I could not being able to reach the whole back side. I honestly cant wait to look down and not see a belly lol.

I am 3 weeks post op today and while I was in the shower this morning I had no problem washing my back side as I once did 3 weeks ago. I have never shared this with any other soul and I must say I feel wonderful. Even though I dnt see any loss I feel a little different. Sorry if this was to much info I needed to share

I was in the hospital sleeping on my stomach.. by the middle of the night I had found my way on my stomach... I also had my incisions glued.

I can have cream based soups, SF jello, SF ice pops, low fat cottage cheese, etc full liquid diet. I was thinking 4.5 oz was a lot

I am 4 days post op and I can eat about four and half oz of cream based soups. I want to know if that is normal. And not all at once over a period of 40 minutes.

I had nothing no diabetes, no hbp, nothing, I had the robotic assisted VSG, my weight I started at 354lbs. Surgery weight was 344. I was also approved the 1st time my papers were submitted. Yes, I have medicaid and only medicaid and I was approved in 3 days and I had my surgery Feb 5th at 7:30 am with Dr Brebbia at WHC

I have a little pain but they told me because it was done robotic it stretch my muscles a little, that is were most of my pain is comingb from

I too have delt with a (i dont even know her job title) person at my surgeons office that always seem to have negative comments. This started the day of my seminar and I was scheduling.my initial consultation and she told me that my.insurance company would not be accepted there anymore. And to her surprise i was there for 6 months and scheduled for my surgery in 9 days. Dont let that nag bag ruin your positive attitude.

Ok so i have been on my pre op diets for 7 days. Tonight i am restless *not unusual i have insomnia. There us a new feeling or sensation. Where my liver is, is hurting and tingling and tightening. The pain wraps around to my back.... Have any one else felt sensations where there liver is?

So i decided to eat about 4 SF popsicles and now its almost dinner time so a protein shake a some SF jello and maybe some more popsicles i have been chuggin down water when i feel the urge to eat but that is wearing off... I will stay strong because I have literally fought for this and will not ruin this for no oneor any urge or addiction
