I'm starting the process

M excited but nervous! I go for an informational meeting on wed! The person I talked to said that is the first step. Did anyone else have to do this as well before seeing the dr? I was relieved to find a place that took my insurances. I have Medicare and Medicaid.

I am meeting with my surgeon today for consult and to pick a date. I have been sure that this is what I need to get my weight under control and kick my ass into gear, but the thought of picking a date is freakin me out. I don't want to leave my boys (4 1/2 and 15 months) without a mother, but I want them to have a healthy one!

Welcome to the journey!! It may get a bit tedious, but I'm sure it will al be worth it in the end! My suggestion to you is just stay organized and take notes...you'll be receiving alot of very vauable informaton along the way. It gets kind of exciting, actually! I just got my insurance approval yesterday, and now waiting to be scheduled for surgery...so looking forward to getting the surgery over with, to work on the new 'ME'!!

Again, I wish you the very best with everything!! I know you'll do great!!

Good morning sleevers. Just an update did my blood work doctors office says I might have h pylori. Will confirm after doing endoscopy in January. Any way did my echo this morning and is now waiting on those results. If I do have this bacteria just a slight delay but surely it must b for a reason.

Yep, Kill off them nasty buggies and Tock On down the road!!!
