I went back to pg 1 and read everything.

You are amazing to have taken all those candid shots. 10 Years ago I had a Breast Reduction too... your scars brought me back.

I am pleased to tell you that ALL of my scars are WHITE and very light coloured. If I was on a topless beach no one would notice them.... Unless I swim in COLD Water then they are a little purplish for a few minutes.

I did not find the pain from the BR that bad. I was back to work in a week and no one was the wiser.. I DIDN"T TELL ANYBODY..

Breast SENSATION questions... no worries there.... because my surgeon did NOT remove my nipple stem, the blood supply is not cut off during surgery. They reshape the nipple smaller to proportionally size it to the 'new' breast but you retain sensation...

I remember in my room after recovery lifting off one bandage to 'peek' at my new boobs... as soon as the cool air hit my nipple... it stood up to attention!! Whew was I happy.

My neck and Back have been much better because I had this surgery.. As well, it make shopping for bathingsuits, bras tremendously easier.

Presurg. I was a 40EE, today I am a 38D cup... still lots to love!

But as my lapband does its job and I lose more weight I'll probably end up a 36 C....

I am waiting to see if I'll need a Tummy Tuck once I've gotten to goal weight. Right now, I am girdling it LOL

Peaches - Thankyou for your post. I'm doing the PS in reverse order to you. TT in 2 weeks and BR sometime next year. I wanted to do both at the same time but the doc wouldn't agree. I've been worried work would give me a hard time about even more time off for additional surgeries, my husband is already sick of my not having any vacation time left over for the family. So it's good to hear you were up and going within a week after the BR.

I went to look at the 12 week pics and it said photobucket took them down for violating TOS.

Must have been the nudity?

But wow, the first set of pics look so painful!! Is it as painful as it looks? I was thinking of possibly doing my boobs if nothing else, but I don't know if I could put them through that!!!!

I am curious how the scars have turned out.. damn photobucket.

THanks for posting. I am going for first consult in a couple af days and am looking forward to having the skin gone from my midsection :scared2:

Neal this is absolutely great, i LOVED seeing the pics, thanks for such a detailed picture narration. You are exactly what i'm hoping to become.

I just had my band on july 20th, almost three weeks ago. I have had terrible, inexplicable complications. Extreme nausea, some uncontrollable vomiting, acid reflux all the way back up into my throat and left ear, excruciating pain......etc etc this whole deal has been a tough experience. I keep telling myself it will get better but man it's something new everyday.

Your pics are great and a bit of an inspiration. This device is in me now so i might as well make the best of it that can be made. I started at 296 and in three weeks have lost 32lbs. Today at the doctor, between throwing up, i weighed 264.

I wish i could say there is glory in losing 32lbs, but with my complications there is none at all. Good luck to you! Have your scars healed from the skin removal? How well have they healed?

Chris

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
