I'm scheduled for 2/6/14. Who else is getting sleeved in February?

Good lucky today girls!! 8 days left for me and I'm getting nervous!!

SF, I'm about to get my IV! The nurse and I have had a chat about numbing the site beforehand and what a weenie I am. Get this. My nurse is afraid of needles! Haha. She is great and I have faith in her ability to IV me properly.

Good luck to you too! You'll be in my thoughts too! Drive safe. This weather is the pits, eh?

Still trying to get there!!! Thanks

Oh man. Hope you get there soon and safely. I am all IV'd up and waiting to talk to the surgeon and anesthesiologist before I go!

SF, I survived my IV even though the numbing didn't work! I'm sure someone thought I was in labor.

The numbing didn't work??? Wth! I'm glad you didn't faint out. Thank goodness you're all hooked up and raring to go. Keep your chin up. U got this

Took a 20 minute walk @ lunch. Hoping that will help get me through the rest of my day. Very tired. I didn't sleep well & there isn't much to this pre-op diet as far as good goes. Maybe this will help me adjust my sleeping patterns to something more normal. Prayers for all who are having/had surgery today. May the peace of Jesus be with you.

My Pre Op diet starts on Saturday and I am really not looking forward to it since seeing everyone's misery.

Good Luck to those having surgery today!

It sucks but it's doable. My worst day was like day 8 or 9. I'd accidentally got some sugar in my system from not checking carbs and it triggered me. I wanted everything I could imagine and it was hard not to cheat, but I didn't.
