Lots and lots of February 3rd sleevers!! Woot woot!! Tell us how your pre-op diets are going

Super fatty

My liquid is going, not fun. I usually go to bed early with a growling stomach, but I'm surviving. How about yours?

I'm feb 18 and mine starts the 4th. I'm trying to not be anxious. I'll probably do like u and hit the hay early. You guys on the 3rd are heading up our February group. Definitely gonna have to keep us updated so we'll not only have encouragement, but we'll know what's "normal" lol

Geez all you Feb 3rds! You're hogging all the glory!

How about some Feb 4ths stepping up??????

Nurse and I can't be the only ones!!

Rec'd my insurance approval today in the mail so its a go for 2/24/14!!!! I just can't believe how fast it's coming. Wishing all my fellow Feb. Sleevers all the best during and after surgery. :)

Yes I'm a Valentine Sleever. My date is 2/10/14. I had approval on 1/15.

Alright we have the same day

Hello everyone I am getting sleeved on 2/17/14 the day after my 25th anniversary so looking forward to the new me lol. Start protein shakes on Friday not looking forward to it but I know it's all pray of the process. Thanks for all the inspirational stories and comments.

@cilliworks, I'm scheduled for the 17th as well! Where are you having your surgery at?

You guys are a day before me!!! Good luck!!!

Shout out to all my fellow-FEB 3-ers: It's 4:30 a.m. now in L.A. and in EXACTLY ONE WEEK my alarm clock will be buzzing so I can check in for surgery at 5:45 a.m. It's official: I'm nervous now. :0(

Hey Charlieblue - I got super nervous this weekend too! Someone asked me about pain relief post op and I hadn't even thought about it!! I also got on the scales after a week of Optifast and had lost 4.5kgs... and then I thought maybe I can just do that instead of surgery. But I had a reality check after putting away the groceries and remembered how easy it is to just give in to old habits.

Would be great for all of us February 3 sleeves to keep updated on progress post op!!

Ps anyone still waiting to tell family/friends? I've told my close friends and my sister... But still to tell my parents. Planning to do it this weekend before my op, but just hate the thought of having the convo... I would much prefer to do post op, but my sister (not a fan of the idea) wants me to do it before hand. I'm not overly worried about their approval but my mum is a drama queen and won't be able to keep it to herself. I'd just rather keep this decision to myself and not widely public.

Anyone had similar experiences? How open are you all being with your choice to have surgery?

I am a Feb 3 groupie and after losing 10 pounds pre op I thought " well if I keep eating like this maybe I can do it on my own". On day 1 and 2 of pre op diet I cheated and had some popcorn. Then I bought sugar free popsicles and I am back on track. I should not have read the complications with the sleeve thread. Pretty scary. I am sy ill committed to my 2-3 surgery but I had a dream I told my doctor nevermind. I'm outta here.
