LOL - this is so me, too! My husband and I were just talking about that when I gave him half of my sandwich just five minutes ago :D

EVERYTIME either my husband or I get up from the table with a plate, Gracie knows she's getting fed so she follows us into the kitchen immediately. The few times we actually finish our food, she looks at us balefully and pathetically.

my dog has permanent "pound puppy face" and even after he's eaten half of a chicken breast he looks up at me like he's starving! haha!

We've taken to calling our one dog fattie because hes like dibbs whenever I can't finish something. However, they always get to lick the plates clean. At least after I'm done licking them clean.

My dog used to luv me. She now gets no people food (due to food allerigies) but she never gives up hope. Anytime I eat anything, she's right there waiting for me to drop a crumb.

I had no idea how much one could love a dog until I get this one as an adult. She's my baby!

My dogs are baffled they are no longer getting treats from my plate. However it is good for them the two older ones can lose a pound or two.

Agreed! I always had cats. Was afraid of big dogs and didn't like small chirpy ones. Since being married 3 years, we adopted German Shepherds!

I love them sooooo much! Way different from the cats that just let you exist with them!

I can tell you love them! :) I bought the nesco dehydrator and jerky gun after reading your posts about them. Haven't been home to try them, but they're there!

That's me! For the pups, I tried sweet potato and ground turkey jerky, they liked them but I didn't (and that's all that matters!). You will love the jerky!

Yeah I'm going to get thinner as my dog gets fatter... She sits at my feet anytime I eat anything!

Well in our case, her additional intake is being balanced by increased exercise. She absolutely INSISTS on taking my husband for a two mile walk daily, once in the morning and once in the evening, for a mile each time. She will not leave him alone until he does that. No matter what, how tired he is, whatever. She sits there and talks to him, and jumps up and down like a baby lamb, until he finally goes with her.

It's good for both of them. :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
