Hi everyone!

Newbie here. I've started the process to get a vertical gastric sleeve---had pscyh evaluation, EGD and medical clearance. I still have a few hurdles, but it looks like my surgery will be scheduled for January 2014 in Dallas.

I would LOVE to have someone to talk to about this! I don't know anyone personally who has had the procedure and my hospital does not offer any kind of support group.

Is anyone in the Dallas area open to having coffee with me?

Did you have your surgery yet? I'm in Plano. Baylor Plano has a monthly support group that meets the first Wednesday of the month that is really good.
