Surgery scheduled but nervous

I received my surgery date today. I'm having lapband removal, hiatal hernia repair, RNY all in one surgery. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Any advice would be appreciated on how to calm my nerves.

Thanks

I am having my lap band removed (Hoping to schedule for July 2014) AND my Gastric bypass in the same day. The doctor feels that anesthesia is so dangerous to go through 2 surgeries so he is prepping me by getting me to have an upper GI series xray to check on the band and also a sleep test.

SO I am nervous about both occurring the same surgery.

Don't be scared. I had my lap band revision to bypass May 7. I was expecting this surgery to really take a toll on me, but it was not bad at all. I had minimum, very minimum pain and left day after surgery to go home. Only took Tylenol once. So excited for you!!

I agree don't be scared! I had my band removed and revision to bypass on May 21. I went home the following day and feel awesome! No pain just a little sore.. So glad I did it!!!! Good luck!
