I'm feeling 22! need a buddy to chat with!

Hello :-) names Katrina. I'm 22 years old. I finally got my surgery date for gastric bypass! It's been a long 6 months but well worth it because I learned a lot about myself, my body and the way food is (par say) I have lost 25 pounds so far! I want to lose another 10 before surgery but its hard!!! I'm here if anyone needs support! Heck I sure do!! :)

Have a wonderful day everyone! <3

How soon can you start working out? I am having my surgery on Monday and am ready to start toning as soon as I can! I am 27 and my highest weight was 299lbs. I am currently at 245lbs. I have already experienced having saggy arms and I am terrified that they will get worse. I love to wear tank tops!

My friend got the bypass 2 months ago and she's taking it easy. She walks 2 miles everyday. So I guess its up to you and how your body feels. I hear you on the whole saggy arms thing.

Hey guys I just turned 24, and am shooting for December. If anyone wants to talk id love it

I'm 26 and had rny october of last year. There are quite of few younger people getting wls. What's really hard to find is other guys to talk to about wls. I read a statistic that said wls is 80% women and 20% men. It was something along those lines. I just found this site and look forward to talking to you guys more.

Only 2 more months than I am submitted.to insurance! Looking at a October surgery date. I just hope that my husband will be here for it because he deploys in October as well. :( I guess we just have to hurry up and wait.

Im 24 and basically still farther away from the surgery. I am in my 8 class session for kaiser options class. So if anyone can explain if they were able to get the surgery although they did not lose the mandatory 10 percent weight loss?
