Found out that my paperwork didn't actually get submitted until the 30th. Grrrr.... Still waiting...

Well, found out today that I was denied. I am not sure what happened because I followed the mandates from the BCBS guide as well as the surgeon's requirements and then had 2 nurses look through everything before I even took it to the bariatric nurse navigator. I will get a written response detailing why I was denied on Monday. I am feeling really sorry for myself right now!

It could be something as simple as a paper not being faxed right. Don't get discouraged!!

No matter what, appeal! You deserve this just as much as the next person.

Bandmom, no need to feel sorry! wait for the letter and figure out why it was denied, it is usually some piece of medical info that wasn't faxed with the rest... Good luck!
