I kinda feel like a hypocrite and kinda like I don't belong as much now. My path has branched off so drastically. No weight change in over a week or more now. I'm still technically obese at 160lbs so I get upset I may never get to goal even after this baby. God has his plans and reasons and as happy and just in awe of this baby i am..I can't help but kinda wish it could have waited a few more months! One oops! I can't wait to see this baby on my us appt but I can scarcely believe this has happened. I'm not sure where I go now. I'm down 53lb since surg. Felt stronger and better than I have in probably almost all of my entire adult life..and now..I'm struggling to keep fluids and foods down even with Zofran. I keep trying to make the gym work and it does help in the mornings.. It's the evenings I seem to get the most unwell. I want to eat anything and nothing! Pregnancy cravings but can't indulge in them. Life sure has taken a weird turn for me. I just wish I felt as human as I felt a few

Weeks ago. Thanks for letting me vent..I know this all is my fault..just still kinda hard.

Life has taken a blessed turn for you my friend! Your main job now is to nourish that baby, not worry about having a great body. That will come AFTER baby! You WILL be a success; you just have a different path now. You can make goal after that precious baby is born. How did telling the family go?? Been thinking of you and hope you are well!

And you DO belong! Dont leave us cuz we need you here!

Is anyone besides me losing their hair like crazy still? I can not believe that is is coming out by the handful every single day. I have easily lost 1/2 of my hair. It is so thin. I am very worried. I get my Protein in' date=' I take my Vitamins, I eat good (99.9% of the time). When is this going to slow down?[/quote']

My hair is coming out like crazy too. I had to resort to a full sew in weave. I've been told that this phase will pass. ***fingers crossed***

So I got blank cards and stuffed pics in them and wrote different little individual messages inside of them kinda with a riddle and the pics for them to figure it out. Was kinda hilarious seeing the looks on their faces. They were so shocked! My son is over 10 so it just never occurred to them I'd ever get pregnant again after all these years! They are all very happy and excited. My daddy and mama are hilariously so! It's been a good weekend overall if u don't count the morning sickness :)

Cant wait until the 23rd. My back pain is back and not feeling well. I cant even stand up straight today. I feel a catch in the bones. It feels like they are stuck when I try to straighten up. Sitti g with ice and pain meds. Not a good day!

Plus I tried tilapia again and it is gonna come back up any minute.

You know what I realized today...I know I have loat weight & am wearing smaller clothes but I don't feel smaller or see myself as smaller in the mirror. Maybe that's because before surgery I didn't "see" that I topped 300lbs either? I still have to lose 15 lbs to be "overweight" and 53 to be at a "normal" BMI.

Being tall sucks!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
