What a treat to see pics of my two sistas this morning! You both look just so beautiful it almost makes me teary. But then again, maybe it's my headache from drinking too much wine last night. Who knows.

Yeah, went out with my girlfriend last night and got all caught up over a bottle+ of wine. Her 21 yr ol daughter had a close brush with cervical cancer yesterday .... but she's alright. Damn cancer!!

Denise - Hang in there!! It's just that pesky 6 month plateau you've hit. Try doing something a little different to shake things up. A different type of exercise or more protein...something like that. I am right there with ya...I'm losing very slowly right now too...but at least we are not gaining. How incredible is THAT?!

Haydee!!! I'm so sorry about your poor tongue!! They do make liquid hydrocodone...I took it after surgery. You're staying home today, right? Go take a good book in the back yard and enjoy this beautiful weather! XOXO!!

I went for a fill today & again I had only a fraction of what was suppose to be in there. I was suppose to have 4cc's & had only 1/2cc. This is my second fill under fluro & no leaks were detected. My band has never held the fills. At this point I am ready to scream. They put omnipaque in it this time. I think that this band has had a leak from the beginning. Anyone had there band replaced because of a similiar problem?

That STINKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Terry had omnipaque put in early on.... "fix a flat for the band!" (funny though I asked my doc about it and he got the deer in the headlights look!) HOPE it holds for you now!

Bon Dia Violets~ (Portuguise) (sp)

Denise~ Thanks for letting us know. We still want to hear from you and keep you in our fold. I am still at 250 which only marks a -30 loss so I am officially the slowest loser here. But I keep bothering these Shrinking Violets everyday!

Speaking of Shrinking Violets~ Tracy...OMG...girl you look wonderful! 212 is far away from me, but if I keep going back to those "kick yo azz" classes, I'll get there. I want to lose 20 more by the time we have our "Violet Retreat".

Jenn~ enjoy your ds! and dd too, but they are sooo cute when they are little. Have a great day. I have conferences until 7pm:faint::faint:. "Blah Blah Blah...your kid sucks...blah blah blah" (lol, just kidding...you all must think i am nuts).

Thanks for all the nice words on the pic. I think I should buy more red blouses, eh?

OK.. so the purple shirt should go to good will it is too big and really looks sloppy if I wear it alone. The black sweater is making its first appearance on my bod in two years... it is Old Navy xxl (I remember when I bought it.... I thought I was buying an oversized sweater and was super depressed when it was a little snug... I was going back UP the scale at the time)

I don't see any difference in the pics.... from last month... and 8lbs.... oh well it will come.

It is cold this morning... frost on the windshield..... DH was grumbling because I refuse to turn on the furnace .... trying to hold out for as long as possible because of the gas bill that will come with it, but I'm going to have to break down tonight and do it..... my little guy hates covers and this morning he woke up coughing........

Haydee: Hope your tongue is feeling better!

Denise: I've been wondering what the heck is going on with you!!!!!

Pamela: YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone: time to get my oatmeal ready

WOW TRACY! You look like an 'average' weight! I'm in awe. Share some of that mojo with me!!!! I feel like such a cow right now with PMS.

Running late again due to sick hubby. I made the mistake of wakin him up to see if he was comin to work, and I had to listen to 5 minutes of hackin and spitting into a bottle before he goes 'noooo'. Then had to take the dog out in another rainy day, so I had to walk her tightly on the leash so she didn't get into red clay which meant I had to stand in the rain while she sniffed forEVER! Bowling last night was funny.. 103, 203, 170.. 100 pins over my first game, I can't believe I bowled so bad that first game. I just couldn't get my ball to go anywhere I wanted it to.. by the 2nd game we had moved the oil around so it wasn't so bad.

Didn't have time to make oatmeal again, but I brought it and a little bowl with me to work so I'm about to go make that and a cup of coffee. I'm having really bad stomach cramps, doesn't feel like PMS, feels like.. something stomach-y.

And another update on my sister.. she went back last Friday, still has pnemonia, so they called a lung specialist in.. over the weekend she is like a zombie, when you talk to her she litterly slurs and mumbles and passes out in the middle of conversations. I asked her if she was on pain meds/ xanax/ etc, because thats what it seems like. She said no. So Monday she went to the lung specialist, they are convinced something else is the cause, and they're still missing it. So they did another cat scan and they are doing a lot more tests today and tomorrow. I swear, this keeps dragging out. They need to admit her to the hospital, do all the tests at once, and quit dragging this out!!!! HOUSE WOULD HAVE FIXED HER BY NOW!

Oy!! I forgot I have a lunch date with my HS best friend (we lost touch, ends up we both moved back here! We caught up on myspace last week and spent a night on the phone for a while). At 11.. it's 10:30 and I'm half-way through my weight loss oatmeal LOL!!! I just called to make sure we're still on.. we are.. I guess I'll get a small bowl of Soup. Darn, I hate when I mess up my eating flow like this.

Laura, love the House bit, don't watch it, but customers have told me about it and love it!

Tracy and Pamela you both look great! Makes me kinda motivated to get my picture taken, had it taken right before surgery and that is it. Hate to have my picture taken!!

It is cold here, I am like Tracy though in not turning on my furnace yet! It is just the mornings that are FREEZING!!

Denise, hang in there as a victim of the 6 month funk myself I am here to tell you the feeling doesn't last long, I am almost cured, but like you I will be glad when Halloween is over, too much candy!!!

Kat and Haydee hugs and special thoughts to you both!!!

Have a great day!

Jane

Tracy & Pam, you both look FAB-U-LOUS! :)

I am 8/10s of a lb away from my -60 mark... it's driving me crazy! So far this month I've lost "only" 6.2 lbs... I know it's down, but I really want to average 8 - 10 lbs/month (altho if I'm honest, I'll remember the little "no-no's" I enjoyed last week @ the lake!)! I've got a few more days left in the month, and I'm obsessed!! Fill is next Weds... 2 months since my last one... was at a good spot the 1st month, which is why I didn't schedule another one, but then it loosened... a lot... but by the time I scheduled, I had to wait another month. Bleh.

On a good note... I did something NEW today! When I went to my friend's to use her eliptical, she also worked up an upper-body weight lifting routine for me, and I did it for the first time today! Yay me! My "bat wings" are starting to scare me... I'm afraid I'll accidentally slap someone w/one! They are certainly wiggly/jiggly! Oh my! So I'm hoping that adding the lifting will help.

Who is this person I'm becoming?? 4 aqua classes each week, eliptical 2x/wk; and now weights! Watch out world!!

Janiebug - you never answered my PM.... did you notice it was there?

Laura - hope you're feeling better soon. What's wrong with DH? Cold/flu type thingy? Is it contagious?? Ugh!

My band is tightening these last few days....don't know why!?...and it's driving me nuts. I'm on the verge of a PB now ...having eaten spinach salad!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
