My fitbit tells me all the time that I am sleeping too much. I used to be a 6 hours per night kind of person and now I need closer to 9 or 10 hours in order to feel normal. My doc says it is totally normal and that eventually the tiredness will go away. They did have me up my carbs a bit so that I had enough energy to work out and that has helped a lot during the day. I still eat way more Protein than carbs, but adding a little has helped a lot. Before I added in some carbs I was coming home at 6pm and going right to bed. Now I can stay up until around 9pm before I get super tired.

I went to the doctors yesterday and I've lost 52 lbs in 9 weeks, slower than some, but I'm very happy to be losing slower than most. I'm eating everything, so very happy i had the surgery. My goal is to lose 10 lbs a month and hopefully that will alleviate skin removal surgery.

I wanted to share my news. I went to the Doctor today for my 2 month check up. Since my last visit, I have lost 14.5 pounds of pure fat. I gained a half a pound of muscle! Whoop whoop! My Doc said, "well you are done, cause I have nothing to fuss at you for! Whatever you are doing keep doing it!"

I am on cloud 9.

Down 32 pounds total! And bought the cutest Easter dress two sizes smaller! :)

SW 311, SD 1/24/13, CW 277.5, GW 180 (for now) ;)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
