Has anyone else had a huge increase in vaginal discharge? I've never had it before and now I can't go without a pantyliner. It makes me feel so unclean.

Girls, I'm wondering what the hell is going on with this too!! My bariatric doc referred me to my gp, so seeing her on Thursday. And I don't mean to be totally gross, but do any of you notice an odor? I might have a uti or a bacterial infection but if it's just from surgery and other people are experiencing it too, I wouldn't worry so much. Plus, I'm due for my period any day now and have had such awful cramps for about a week now but no bleeding.. :( I'm a mess downstairs! Lol.

Poor ladies the only thing I'm experiencing is extreme wetness. If hubby touch me I'm all wet. If I see Richard gere on tv I'm all wet. How wet is this cuca gonna get? It's out of control.

Yes. I went to see my gp and she said it was a yeast infection. Umm, I don't think so. It would itch, right? And she said they don't necessarily itch and prescribed me diflucan. I thought she was full of s#&t, but took the diflucan anyways, and within a week it did seem to clear up. So, either it was/is some sorta strange yeast infection that doesn't itch (wtf?), or it's just our hormones/bodies adjusting like someone previously mentioned. If you have a script for diflucan, no harm in taking it and seeing if it clears up, but if not, maybe do the otc yeast infection treatment. Then I'd give it another week or two if you can handle that before I'd go see my doc. Lol. I'm a cheapskate! Damn co-pays!!

After surgery I had a weird clitoris itch. Went to my gyno, did chk up and everything was kinda ok - had UTI. That's not a place you want to be rubbing and scratching. I've heard some people say they had it from cathera.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
