What a freakin day. My moms doggies were killed by her neighbors dogs (months after my dad just passed.) through tears we are getting to the hospital for check in now. Hopefully it's not a sign. A little upset with God right now. Enough a enough already. This has been the most unbelievable year for us. Please let him, my daddy, my Momo and all the rest we've lost watch over and help me through this. Thanks for the prayers and good thoughts guys.

Omgoodness, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I have 3 dogs ( and 5 - almost 2 week old pups). I lost my oldest 2 months ago and he is still with me and always will be. He went with me everywhere, literally, when my anxiety was at its worse and I couldn't leave home. Him and I were very attached. He actually had separation anxiety from me. It is hard for me at times to not have him at my side. He had been with me thru so much, so I know the importance of our babies (doggies). For many people, dogs, cats, etc are very much our children too. Tragic Loss.

I hope your mom will report the neighbors dogs to the authorities, cuz that is a brutal way to go. My heart goes out to you and your mom. You are in good hands and your father will guide the surgeon as he watches over you. I'm so sorry :'-(

Gen :-)

still relaxing in the hospital. my white blood count was a lil high. so they just took more blood to see if it came down at all... if it has then I'm most likely going home tonight. also weather permitting. since I live 20 minutes from the hospital.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
